The Gorai River is a vital part of Kushtia’s ecosystem and community life, yet plastic and waste often pollute its banks. In this clean-up initiative, volunteers gather to remove litter, separate recyclable waste, and restore cleanliness along the riverfront. Beyond cleaning, we also engage passersby and nearby communities to raise awareness about responsible waste disposal and the long-term harms of river pollution. Our goal is to protect water quality, preserve biodiversity, and keep the Gorai Riverbank beautiful and safe for everyone.
